Soul Reaver 2 for Dreamcast canned

   Eidos has canceled the Dreamcast version of Soul Reaver 2, according to IGNDC. An Eidos representative stated that the title was nixed due to Sega's recent decision to focus on software development and not hardware.

   The PlayStation 2 version of the game, due out this spring, remains unaffected by the cancellation. Ironically, the only platform with a surviving version of Soul Reaver 2 is one the title was not even planned to be released on: Soul Reaver 2 was originally announced as a PlayStation 1 and Dreamcast release.
