Onimusha U.S. date confirmed

   Capcom today officially announced a North American release date for Onimusha: Warlords. The historical PlayStation 2 adventure will hit store shelves on March 14th at a suggested retail price of $49.99. A six-week, multi-million dollar marketing campaign promoting the title will begin March 16.

   "The Capcom team has done a tremendous job of creating and marketing a stunning game that could only be brought to market with the power of the PlayStation 2," said Bill Gardner, president and CEO of Capcom USA.

   Onimusha has already been a smash hit for Capcom in Japan. Since its release January 25th, the title has remained at #1 on Famitsu's sales charts and has already become the top-selling PlayStation 2 title ever.
