Game Boy Advance U.S. date announced

   When the Game Boy Advance was unveiled at Space World last August, Nintendo tentatively scheduled a July 2001 release for the new handheld in America. But at this weekend's Toy Fair in New York, a Nintendo Marketing Calendar distributed to attendees included a June 11th launch for the Game Boy's successor.

   Though no additional information about the launch was revealed, the handheld system will likely be a marquee attraction in Nintendo's E3 booth this May, a mere three weeks before the new June 11th launch date.
