Resident Evil Code: Veronica Complete U.S.-bound?

[01.24.00] » Capcom's PlayStation 2 update is headed to North America, IGN reports.

   According to a release list posted today on IGNPS2, Capcom will be releasing Resident Evil Code: Veronica Complete in North America. The PlayStation 2 upgrade to the Dreamcast hit is listed with a new name -- "Resident Evil Code: Veronica X" -- and a spring / summer 2001 release date.

   Capcom has not yet officially announced a U.S. release, nor has IGN commented on the news outside of the release list. However, a North American release of RE:CV Complete would hardly be surprising given the series' popularity. If the title is indeed on its way across the Pacific, expect an official announcement soon.
