Onimusha 2 revealed[01.18.01] Capcom proves it's never too early to announce a sequel. Onimusha: Warlords for the PlayStation 2 won't be hitting stores near you until this March, but Capcom isn't wasting any time in expanding the series. GameInformer released a series of screen shots from Onimusha 2 following a press conference held yesterday by Capcom to proclaim that Onimusha is ready for the masses.Onimusha 2 takes place 10 years after the events of Onimusha and stars a new eye patch wearing protagonist. Like Samanosuke of the original game, this new character will be armed with a gauntlet weapon to absorb the souls of the enemies he kills. Players should expect a wide variety of new enemies and some unfamiliar environments. There's no word on whether or not the game will feature any additional controllable characters, but there will be as many as three or four characters that you will interact with throughout the game.
