Dance Dance Revolution delayed in the US?

[01.13.01] » As if we haven't been waiting long enough...

Those eagerly awaiting the American release of Dance Dance Revolution may now have to wait a little longer. Though Konami announced at their first annual Gamer's Day in December that the game would arrive in February of this year, the most recent update to the company's release calendar now has it listed for a Spring date.

Though the GIA has yet to receive confirmation on the delay, there is no advertising in place and no listed date from online retailers such as EBWorld and GameStop a mere month before the previously announced release date. The game may be held up in licensing due to the large number of songs, or Konami may simply be waiting until software sales pick up after the usual post-holiday slump.
