EA announces Xbox development
[12.12.00] » Mammoth third-party and Kessen publisher confirms support for Microsoft's entry into the console market.
Electronic Arts, by far the world's biggest third-party publisher, announced today that they would be fully supporting Microsoft's Xbox. EA's comprehensive support was viewed by many as the saving grace of a mediocre PlayStation 2 launch, including Kessen, widely seen as the best RPG/strategy game available for the console so far. A Harry Potter online RPG has also been confirmed by the company. Combined with rumors surrounding a special edition of SSX leading the way into GameCube development, EA looks to be branching out onto more consoles than ever before.
