Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within gets composer

   Columbia Pictures and Square Pictures have assigned a composer to the upcoming film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Elliot Goldenthal (Titus, In Dreams, Sphere) has the composing honors. Nobuo Uematsu, a videogame composer by trade, is presumably busy with Final Fantasy X and XI and will not be scoring the film. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within will be released in the United States during July 2001.
