Dragon Quest Monsters 2 announced

    Enix has announced the release of a pair of sequels for Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland. The two sequels are Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Maruta's Wonder Key -- Luca's Start on a Journey and Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Maruta's Wonder Key -- Iru's Adventure. Details are virtually nonexistent, but it can be assumed that Enix plans to release both games simultaneously a la Pokémon. It is yet to be seen if the two sequels share the same gameplay relationship and distinctions of that other "monster" series. Both titles are tentatively scheduled for Japanese release on March 20, 2001.
