Phantasy Star Online network fees announced

    The price of admission has been announced for the Japanese release of Phantasy Star Online. Sega will offer access to the game's promising network play through two pricing structures: 400 yen ($3.71) for thirty days, or 1000 yen ($9.27) for ninety days. In order to entice prospective buyers, the game will include a free 30 day period. Phantasy Star Online is scheduled for Japanese release on December 21, while the U.S. version will follow shortly sometime in January 2001.
