Nintendo announces new release dates

[10.25.00] » Paper Mario moves back; Pokémon Stadium GS confirmed for U.S. release.

Nintendo of America today announced an updated set of release dates for its fourth quarter 2000 and first quarter 2001 titles. The Game Boy Color version of Pokémon Puzzle League, once delayed to 2001, has moved back to 2000 and now carries a December 4th release date. On the other hand, Nintendo 64 RPG Paper Mario has been pushed back to February 5, 2001, a shift already announced by many retailers.

Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal, meanwhile, has received its first North American date. To be titled simply Pokémon Stadium GS in North America, the third Pokémon Stadium will ship on March 26, 2001.

Dinosaur Planet and Silicon Knights' adventure title Eternal Darkness have vanished from the release list completely; don't expect to see these titles until April 2001 at the earliest.
