Softmax confirms Rhapsody of Zephyr for Dreamcast

[10.04.00] » Korean based company set to bring award-winning RPG to the Dreamcast.

The GIA has learned from Softmax representatives that Softmax Japan, not Falcom, will be releasing Rhapsody of Zephyr for the Dreamcast. Not to be mistaken for PlayStation's Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Rhapsody of Zephyr is the award-winning PC Strategy RPG inspired by Alexander Dumas' novel Count of Monte Cristo. It was released in Korea in 1998, then refined by Falcom for Japanese release in 1999. The Dreamcast version will make use of Falcom's story and character portrait modifications. Rhapsody of Zephyr is slated for a December 2000 release in Japan.
