Nintendo begins cross-country Pokémon tour

   In addition to the preorder campaign for Pokémon Gold and Silver, Nintendo is launching a cross-country tour to promote the upcoming Game Boy Color games. On hand at each stop will be pre-release copies several Pokémon games, including Gold & Silver and Hey You, Pikachu, for eager youngsters to test out.

   The tour will travel in style, on Chrysler PT Cruisers refitted in Lugia's image. Where they'll go is partially up to you: the tour's official page has a list of official cities and dates, along with polls to choose the last city of each region. As Nintendo would no doubt say to those whose hometowns are one of the poll choices: This summer, one person can make all the difference. Pokémon Gold & Silver will be on sale October 12 for $34.95.
