Mario Story gets rated

[08.16.00] » Famitsu looks at the oft-retitled N64 RPG.

    With Mario Story (a.k.a. Super Mario RPG 2, Mario Adventure, and Paper Mario) finally out in Japan, the weekly gaming bible Famitsu has had a chance to take a look at the title, giving it a Gold rating with scores of 8, 8, 8, and 9. The reviewers liked the way that it looked, but complained about the simplicity of it, saying that it was geared too much to a younger audience.

    Look for more on Mario Story's U.S. counterpart, Paper Mario, as the game's December 26 release date nears.
