Space Channel 5 and Legend of Dragoon action figures announced

Fate is not a cruel mistress. Fate is a sadistic bitch. How else can one explain a world where the quirky and personable Space Channel 5 debuts outside the top 25, but the digital abberation that is Legend of Dragoon dominates the number one position for a month? Oh, cruel new world, that has such gamers in it!
But relative performances not withstanding, both games are getting their own action figure line. Palisades Marketing's Space Channel 5 line will feature Ulala, Pudding, Evila, and Giant Evila. With a little stop-motion animation and the soundtrack CD, you can recreate your favorite stages in the comfort of your own home.
For those lobotomized individuals who managed to find enjoyment from Sony's Legend of Dragoon, Blue Box is offering action figures of five of the game's "characters." Dart, Shana, Kongol, and Lavitz are sure to have just as much personality as stiff, plastic action figures as they did as ugly, blocky, polygonal models. The GIA approves, however, of purchasing Rose, the tragic heroine of the sorrowful tale that is Legend of Dragoon. As a character with a personality, intelligent motivations, and an IQ higher than Forrest Gump's, Rose deserved better than her company--and her game. Shana and Dart may also be purchased, as long as they are bought in conjunction with Rose and Rose is always allowed to "win."
Andrew Vestal considers Legend of Dragoon to be the most offensively bad RPG ever created. If you like the game, he probably doesn't like you.
