Persona, Kartia receive lower prices
[07.07.00] » It's like the Greatest Hits series, only cheaper and without the lovely green bar along the side.
Atlus USA announced today that, thanks to increased demand for the titles, they would be re-releasing their out-of-print Playstation RPGs Revelations: Persona and Kartia. Both titles were developed by Atlus R&D1, the same team that created the upcoming Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, and will be available for a suggested retail price of $19.99 or less. “As the marketplace has changed we find the demand for many of our classic role-playing games has increased dramatically,” explained Dimitri Criona, Vice-President of Sales. “Sometimes we forget the profiles of the gamers are changing constantly and we believe there are many gamers who have never experienced the complexity and unique style of Atlus games.”
Revelations: Persona is set in the not-too-distant future, in a reality where mankind has harnessed dimensional travel. Atlus estimates the game, which includes a 300-monster bestiary and the unique ability to converse with enemies before battling them, requires approximately 50 hours to finish.
Kartia sports features including 20-character battles, parallel storylines, and characters designed by Yoshitaka Amano, of Final Fantasy celebrity. For more information, take a look at the GIA's comprehensive coverage.
