Details of Square's Millennium Collection

[06.06.00] » Square repackages old games with bonus merchandise, world stunned.

Square has recently announced the Millennium Collection, which will feature older PlayStation games packaged with related merchandise. The initial round of Millennium Collection titles are set for a Japanese-only release date of June 29th, with other undisclosed PlayStation games to follow. The price for all is set at 3800 yen, or around 40 US dollars, which may sound a bit high until you consider the pack-in items, which are as follows:

  • Final Fantasy Tactics: A zodiac clock and playing cards sporting drawings of the main characters and various job classes.
  • SaGa Frontier: A teacup and a T-shirt with game artwork on it.
  • SaGa Frontier II: Again a teacup and a T-shirt, this one having Gustav XIII on the front.
  • Brave Fencer Musashi: A Square pouch, perfectly sized to house a Wonderswan or GameBoy Color, a set of 10 postcards with game artwork on them, and a Minku wrist band with five attachable minkus in various poses.
