Monster Rancher in development for PlayStation 2

   The surprise hit series Monster Rancher is in development for the PlayStation 2, according to Tecmo of Japan. No information is known yet, but the game will likely continue in the vein of the first two titles in the series as far as allowing monsters to be created from CD data. It's also highly probable that saved games from the first two will be compatible with the new game. Though the GIA would consider it nifty if the game allowed monster creation from DVD movie information, this feature is probably unlikely.
