   Though it's not clear how or why, reports have surfaced that Metal Gear Solid 2 for the PlayStation 2 will be cross-compatible with Metal Gear Solid for Nintendo's Game Boy Color. Konami has mentioned nothing about the eyebrow-raising trans-competition feature save to say that it would be accomplished via some sort of link cable.
