E3: Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force details emerge

   In a recent interview with IGN, Shigeru Miyamoto disclosed several prominent gameplay details surrounding the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Series for Gameboy Color. Most notably mentioned was the link system, which serves a dual purpose. First it allows players to play any of the three games in any order and secondly it employs a variable scenario system, where completion of an event in one title changes a certain aspect in the other two. According to Miyamoto, a password system will synchronize any data between the three titles. The first game in the trilogy will be The Legend of Zelda: Mystical Seed of Power and is tentatively scheduled to ship in North America sometime in July 2000
