E3: Dragon Quest VII impressions

   Dragon Quest VII was showing in video form only at the Enix booth, and looked mostly unchanged from its appearance at the Tokyo Game Show a few weeks back. The title looks graphically unimpressive compared to newer-generation PSX titles, but the trademark Dragon Quest charm is evident, and the attention spent creating an active world is evident. With the recent delay on Japanese shores, Enix should have even more time to polish this title before it ships. While a U.S. release has already been confirmed, Enix has not yet announced a date.
