E3: SNK announces Neo-Geo Pocket Color lineup

   SNK announced its Neo Geo Pocket Color line-up for the remainder of the year, and the list confirms the North American release of Evolution NGPC, a brand new adventure based on the Dreamcast RPG. Due out this spring in Japan, Evolution will arrive in the U.S. this fall. Mech-based strategy RPG Faselei! also has a new release date; after mysteriously failing to meet its March release date, the title will now ship to retailers in June.

   A surprise entry on the U.S. release list is music game Cool Cool Jam, the portable counterpart to the Dreamcast game Cool Cool Toon. As the two games can exchange data with the NGPC-DC link cable, an English release of Cool Cool Toon is all but confirmed as well. Cool Cool Toon is due out in the fall as well.

   Ogre Battle Gaiden, however, is nowhere to be seen on the list, calling the strategy title's localization prospects into question. However, SNK has not specifically ruled out an English release, so it's still possible that the game will find its way to North America eventually.
