Eidos announces E3 line-up

   Eidos today announced its slate of titles for E3, and among them are two new adventure titles: Fear Effect: Retro Helix and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2.

   The follow-up to Fear Effect, which has already sold over 500,000 copies since its release this past March, Fear Effect: Retro Helix picks up the story before the original Fear Effect and details how Hana, Glas, and Deke originally met up. The title is currently scheduled for a spring 2001 release, making it likely one of the last major PlayStation 1 titles.

   Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 for the Dreamcast will also be display; while no details on the game have been divulged, expect it to pick up after the abrupt ending of the original Soul Reaver and to feature similar gameplay. No release date for Soul Reaver 2 has been officially announced, though word has it the game may arrive by the end of 2000.

   Look for more on both games when E3 begins on May 11.
