Five new Final Fantasy IX characters revealed

   Above are the silhouettes of the five previously unrevealed Final Fantasy IX characters. Thanks to Japanese gaming website Minaduki and ace translator Nick "Rox" Des Barres, the GIA can bring you the first details about the unrevealed characters.

Garnet Till Alexandros (Top row, left)
   The princess of a royal house; as royalty, her values are different from those of the common people, and because of this many think she is selfish. While currently unconfirmed, it is very likely this is the princess who Steiner is assigned to protect. Garnet is the girl from the Coke commercial with the yellow disco getup; her name is NOT Eiko, as previously believed.

Quina Quen (Top row, middle)
   A strange gourmand wrapped in total mystery, Quina cares for nothing but food and eating.

Freya (Flyer?) Crescent (Top row, right)
   A valiant female warrior who combines grace and strength, seemingly troubled by events past. An exceedingly sensitive person who can feel the very ebb and flow of nature.

Salamander Coral (Bottom row, left)
   He believes only in himself and his own training. A "hard-boiled guy" who thinks power and strength are everything.

Eiko (Echo?) Callor (Bottom row, right)
   A bright and precocious 6-year-old prodigy. She is incredibly intelligent for her age, which often shocks those around her. Somehow, Eiko's name was attached by Japanese news sites to Garnet's character. Everybody do a mental reassociation, please.
