RPG Maker confirmed for release in U.S.

[04.14.00] » Agetec to release long-awaited RPG creation game this summer.

RPG Maker, the game that's been hinted at and cancelled at least three times so far, has at last received a final confirmation of North American release. Agetec revealed to the GIA today that the RPG creation title, a translation of the Japanese RPG Maker 3, would be on display at this year's E3 just before a summer release.

The game allows for customization of stories, dialogue, environment, party system, credits, and enemies. The data is saved to the standard PSX memory card, meaning GIA readers will be able to exchange their creations with a DexDrive in the Mission Logs section.
