Pokémon Trading Card Game ships

   Nintendo of America announced today that its latest Pokémon game, Pokémon Trading Card Game for Game Boy Color, has shipped and should be in stores today. An adaption of the Wizards of the Coast collectible card game, Pokémon Trading Card Game includes all of the cards in the Base Set, as well as those in the Jungle and Fossil expansion sets. An exclusive card for the non-electronic version of the card game is included with the cartridge as well.

   "Pokémon Trading Card Game successfully combines the popularity of the Wizards of the Coast card game and Nintendo's Game Boy format into one interactive product," says Peter Main, Nintendo's executive vice president, sales and marketing. "Now all the challenges of collecting, trading and dueling Pokémon cards are available in an easy-to-learn, electronic format."

   Pokémon Trading Card Game carries a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $29.99 US. Look for the GIA's review soon.
