Square Europe announces 2000 release schedule

[04.09.00] » Vagrant Story, Front Mission 3, Parasite Eve II, FF IX all headed to Europe.

   Square's newly-formed Square Europe branch recently announced its release schedule for 2000. In addition to Final Fantasy VIII and SaGa Frontier 2 -- both already available -- the company plans to release four games this year:

• Vagrant Story: Due out mid-June. English, French, and German versions will be available; manuals will also be translated into Spanish, Italian, and Dutch.
• Front Mission 3: Due out early July. The game will be released only in English, but French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch manuals will be available.
• Parasite Eve II: Due out in mid-August, which actually places it ahead of the September North American release. English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian editions will all appear; a Dutch manual will also be available.
• Final Fantasy IX: Due out sometime in the fourth quarter. No language information is available yet, but as it's Square's biggest title of the year, expect it to appear in at least as many languages as Parasite Eve II.
