Nintendo 64, Game Boy Color E3 line-ups revealed

[04.07.00] » Pokémon Attack N64, Eternal Darkness, Mega Man 64, Lufia: Ruins Chaser, and more to appear this May.

Nintendo recently kicked off a poll on its website asking readers to vote for the E3 titles they're most anticipating. The lengthy ballot unofficially announces a number of new games -- including a Nintendo 64 version of the secret Game Boy Color puzzle title Pokémon Attack. Silicon Knights' time-traveling adventure Eternal Darkness, Capcom's Mega Man 64 (a port of the PlayStation title Mega Man Legends), and Natsume's Harvest Moon 2 and Lufia: Ruins Chaser are all scheduled to debut at the show as well.

Other, more obvious, titles will be on display, including The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask; Pokémon Gold and Silver, Hey You, Pikachu! (formerly Pikachu VRS); Ogre Battle 64; Resident Evil: Zero; Super Mario RPG 2 (known as Super Mario Adventure in Japan); and the three Zelda games for Game Boy Color.

One game not seen on the list, however, is the frequently-delayed Mother 3, aka Earthbound 64. Due out for release this summer in Japan, the RPG -- originally intended for the 64DD peripheral -- has still not been confirmed for a North American release. However, Nintendo cautions that there will "certainly be some surprise announcements," so fans of the series shouldn't lose all hope yet.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo runs from May 11 to May 13th. Count on the GIA to bring you full coverage.
