    Hideo Kojima, of Metal Gear and Policenauts fame, has announced his next project: Zone of Enders, abbreviated Z.O.E. Described as a "Sci-fi Robot Action Adventure" title, it looks to combine Armored Core-style battles with Kojima's trademark deep storyline. Character designs are by Nobuyoshi Nishimura, who has previously worked on Gundam X, and mecha designs are from Yoji Shinkawa, the longtime Metal Gear artist. The game is due for release by Christmas in Japan, and "before March" 2001 in the U.S. Look for larger screens later in the day.
