Jay Leno sues Enix Co., Ltd for character likeness in Dragon Quest VII

[04.01.00] » You would too if your name were "Keefer."

The GIA has learned that Jay Leno, host of the NBC Tonight Show, has filed an injunction against Enix Co., Ltd for "ILLEGALLY INSERTING the character of JAY LENO into the game DRAGON QUEST VII." "I always knew Akira Toriyama's originality was suspect," says the comedian, "but this 'original' character design, 'Keefer,' is just insulting. And my chin isn't nearly that big." Leno is seeking $2.2 million in damages.
