Assorted Final Fantasy IX story details

   Today's obligatory Final Fantasy IX story brings a slightly wider view of the game's world. All the major cities of FF IX are flying constructs; the floating theater seen in previous shots is only one of many such cities. As a result, expect many airborne escapades along the lines of Sega's Eternal Arcadia.

   Not all of the world's citizens share in this prosperity, however. Thieving hero Zidane comes from a destitute background; his current life of crime is his way of seeking retribution for the hard times his family has lived through.
