Final Fantasy Movie character names

   While we've known for quite some time what actors would be doing the voices for the upcoming Final Fantasy Movie, the names of their characters have remained a mystery. No more. At last the characters have been revealed, and while in some cases a name doesn't mean much, some of them have quite a bit of significance for FF fans.

• Aki - Ming-Na Wen
• Gray - Alec Baldwin
• Dr. Sid - Donald Sutherland
• General Hein - James Woods
• Ryan - Ving Rhames
• Neil - Steve Buscemi
• Jane - Peri Gilpin

   Note that Gray matches with some of the earliest reports on the FF Movie, dating as far back as four years. Also interesting is a "Dr. Sid," which means the movie has as much in common with the games as any two of the games ever did with each other.
