Final Fantasy IX, X, and XI receive updated release dates

    New Japanese release dates for the next three Final Fantasy games have been divulged by Square, with the first and foremost being a July release date for Final Fantasy IX. Final Fantasy X and XI's release dates are still tentative, although they've been narrowed down to targets of spring 2001 and fall 2001, respectively.
