GIA forced into gladitorial combat with other RPG sites

[02.27.00] » But like Rhapsody, this one's a musical. Musically inclined readers: help us win!

Recently, the GIA was asked to participate in a music composition with other RPG sites. The sizeable competition made us look twice: TotalRPG, RPGFan, RPGStuff, VGMusic, SSTrax, HeLLVen, RPGamer, Square-Haven, Zophar's Domain, and VGMidi. With such a veritable who's who of RPG and videogame music sites to go up against, how could we resist?

The rules of the competition permit the GIA to have up to ten musicians "represent" our site and our honor. This is where you, the reader, come in. You probably already think that the GIA is the best site around for RPG and adventure game coverage, right? Now, you have the opportunity to kick ass (in our name!) and get away with it.

The musical competition will consist of three categories: MIDI Music, MOD Music (S3M, MOD, IT, etc.), and Recorded Music (vocals, your garage band, violin solos, etc. in MP3). All songs must be remixes or arrangements of RPG songs. Ideally, the GIA will sweep all three categories. If you've got musical MAD SKILLZ and would be interested in defending the GIA's honor, drop us a line at andrewv@thegia.com with your name, musical talents, and URL of examples of your work. Thanks!
