Square announces online SaGa Frontier II contest

   Square recently unveilied a new online contest centered around the soon-to-be-released SaGa Frontier II. Entitled "Six Degrees of Gustave XIII", the contest will run from March 13th to April 7th. Every weekday, Square will post an additional new character from SaGa Frontier II's cast. Like the classic game "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon," the goal is to find a series of blood relationships linking the chosen character and protagonist Gustave XIII, using as few "steps" as possible.

   Scores will tabulated after each week; the three most successful players each week will receive prizes. The first place winner each week will receive a Philips DVD825AT DVD player, the second place finisher a Olympus D-340R digital camera, and the third place player a Handspring Visor Deluxe PDA. All three winners will also receive a SaGa Frontier II strategy guide. Finally, a grand prize winner, with the best combined score for all four weeks, will receive 4-day trip to Las Vegas.
