Working Designs to bring Arc the Lad Collection to U.S.

[01.26.00] » Six-CD, three-title, extra-filled collection likely in gamers' future.

Working Designs plans to bring the Arc the Lad Collection to the U.S. in late 2000, reports GameFan Online. The collection will contain all three Arc the Lad titles, for six total CDs of anime RPG. Extras have yet to be revealed, but for a collection of this scope, Working Designs is sure to pull out all the stops.

The GIA called Working Designs for comment; they stated that they could neither confirm nor deny the rumor, but that interested gamers should stay tuned to Working Designs' official website.

Working Designs president Victor Ireland also posted a cryptic message to the company message board a few weeks ago, promising that Working Designs would release six games in 1999, but "not in the manner you'd expect." With Silhouette Mirage, Vanguard Bandits, and Lunar 2 all confirmed for release in 1999, Arc the Lad Collection would fill in those three remaining spots quite nicely--and in a manner we wouldn't expect. While we have yet to confirm this rumor, we remain strongly optimistic for its chances. An official announcement should be forthcoming within the next few days.
