[01.24.00] » SCEA to release two new RPGs in the second quarter.
Sony Computer Entertainment America recently unveiled its release schedule for the second quarter of 2000, and it features two new titles that are sure to interest RPG fans.
Contrail's Wild Arms 2 will hit store shelves on May 2nd, almost two years to the day that its predecessor was released. Though the Japanese version was titled Wild Arms 2nd Ignition, the North American release will be known simply as Wild Arms 2. The Panzer Dragoon Saga-inspired Legend of Dragoon will follow slightly over a month later, on June 13th.
"The spring season promises to be exceptional for PlayStation gamers, with marquis software titles scheduled for release in a variety of genres," said Ami Blaire, director, product marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America. "There are now 25 million PlayStation owners in the United States - equating to a PlayStation in one out of every four US households - so it is important that we continue to support the platform and deliver quality software for a broad audience."
