Nintendo announces Pokémon Attack

   Nintendo of America today announced a brand new member of the ever-growing Pokémon family. Titled Pokémon Attack and due out this summer, the new game will be the first Pokémon puzzle game.

   Aside from the release date and genre, no details on Pokémon Attack have been revealed. Its title may conjure up memories of fellow puzzle title Tetris Attack, however; IGNPocket also speculates that the game may be Japanese puzzler Puyo Puyo Sun redrawn with Pokémon characters. Given that the announcement comes exclusively from Nintendo of America, and that no mention of the game has ever been made by Nintendo of Japan, the latter hypothesis may well prove true.
