Lufia: Ruins Chaser delayed until fall

[01.07.00] » Progress continues, but Natsume pushes the Game Boy Color's Lufia installment back until the fall.

The third title in the little-known but highly acclaimed Lufia series has had a rocky history. The game's original Japanese publisher went bankrupt, the series' developer halted production, and the project's platform was eventually switched to the Game Boy Color after months of PlayStation development. Now, another hurdle has appeared, with Natsume's North American delay of the game until the third quarter of 2000.

After numerous delays and without any substantial game information, is there a danger the project could silently disappear? We spoke with Natsume, who reassured fans that development on the game is definitely continuing, and that concrete gameplay details and screens aren't far off. For the latest information on what is known about the project, be sure to read the GIA's Lufia: Ruins Chaser preview.
