Pokémon Stadium 3 on the way
[01.04.00] » Miyamoto hints at a third Pokémon Stadium title, this time with Gold and Silver characters.
In a recent Japanese radio interview, legendary Nintendo producer Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned that a third Pokémon Stadium title is in the works for the Nintendo 64. According to Miyamoto, the third game will be the first Pokémon Stadium game to allow the use of the new Pokémon seen in the recent Gold and Silver versions. (Pokémon Stadium 1 only included some of the 151 original Pokémon; Pokémon Stadium 2 featured the entire original cast but none of the Gold and Silver monsters.)
Meanwhile, Pokémon Stadium 2 will be released this March in North America under the unnumbered title "Pokémon Stadium." Pokémon Stadium allows players to import their Pokémon from Game Boy saves and fight in full 3-D. Additionial details can be found in the full preview.
