[09.28.01] » Hrms.
I recently retired from GIA due to a lack of time and interest. While I can't say I have any time or interest for updating Qu's Marsh either, perhaps I'll do something with it.
We'll see.
[05.09.01] » A lot of you have been wondering what happened to Raypoint Flam. Well, wonder no more. Premier industry libel site FatInfants has brought you the sordid story of the Raypoint Flam development fiasco. Read all about it in the The Death and Return of Rayp--nt Flam.
Wow, only little over a week between updates -- I'm improving! (A little.)
[03.26.01] » BLARGH.
I don't mean to leave this page untouched for so long. I really don't. And once again I've got to apologize to the people who have continued to support Qu's Marsh in spite of my laziness.
The good news is that I actually have something to show for my disappearance this time: A brand spankin' new fanfic, the first one I've finished in over a year! It could still stand to be better, but having worked it for about 8 months at this point, I just want to get it done with :). So, it's up -- go take a look at it and let me know what you think. This page is here for you guys, after all.
Thanks to everyone who responded to my poll in the last update (it seems so long ago!). Every single respondent voted for single-page fanfics (as opposed to ones separated into HTML documents), so that's what I went with. Hope this is okay for everybody :).
While I really hope not to leave this page untouched for so long, I know that talk is cheap and I'll probably inexplicably vanish for a month again soon. So I've created a new mailing list down at the bottom of the page. Enter your e-mail address and you'll be informed via e-mail whenever Qu's Marsh updates, so you won't have to keep checking the page all the time.
I'm on spring break, so I hope to add some cool stuff to this page over the next week.
Assuming I don't disappear again.
[03.07.01] » Wow, only five days between updates! I'm still getting caught up on mail, though.
I'm actually getting close to finishing a fanfic (shokku!), so here comes an IMPORTANT SCIENTIFIC GALLUP POLL! As you guys probably know if you've ready any of my other 'fics, I like to write my fanfics as one huge long document. However, I know in the past that some people have said they prefer to have it divided up into separate HTML acts or chapters or whatever, and I'm more than willing to rearrange it in such a way if that's what the readers prefer. So please drop me a line with your thoughts on this, 'cause the doctors think the fanfic is coming out in just another week or two. That's the good news.
The bad news is that Qu's Marsh has had the dubious honor of being linked to from my archnemesis. In an effort to appease the pretentious Megaman fanboys who are probably now swarming all over the Marsh, here's some witty, sarcastic humor: Meow meow Xenogears sucks meow meow MEGAMAN IS GOD meow meow G.I. Joe. Damn, I'm really on the cutting edge of comedy now -- if you don't get it, it's because my site actually sucks. Ha ha! I sure showed you with my faux cynicism. By the way, I'm smarter than all of you.
Um, anyway, there's been a number of requests for the return of the songs section from CC, so look for that to be up soon. As always, feedback of any sort is appreciated. (Okay, of any sort except for requests to buy Squall's necklace ;P.)
[03.02.01] » Okay, half a month with no updates is a Bad Thing, especially for a site that's just getting off the ground. I apologize for neglecting my new little baby. It won't happen again.
Unfortunately, in my absence, the Internet -- and apparently the rest of society, up to and including Time Magazine -- has dissolved into a frothing orgy of idiocy that likes of which I have never before seen. I don't think I need to elaborate any further except to say that this makes me a sad panda.
There's not a whole lot I can do about the situation aside from pledge that I'll be updating more in an effort to provide the Internet with some form of humor than repeating the same stupid Engrish dialog over and over. Viva la revolución.
On a brighter note, I've gotten a lot of really positive feedback on the site as a whole, and I want to thank you guys for your support for even a site that doesn't update for 15 days ;). Unfortunately, I haven't yet gotten a chance to sort out of all the Qu's Marsh mail from all the spam and "How do I connect my Pokemon to my friend's nipple?"-type nonsense I get via GIA, but I'll try to clean things out this weekend. (I'll probably be getting a separate Qu's Marsh e-mail so I won't have this trouble in the future.)
Anyway, I promise to update the site again in the next couple of days! As before, if you have any feedback about what sort of stuff you'd like to see on this site, I'd love to hear it.
[02.18.00] » Well, I've got the semblance of a web site up. Except I've been told that it has a "bad color scheme" and no one except my parents will visit it. After all, no one really cares about that content stuff.
So what is this site? That sorta remains to be seen. QM is basically the successor to the late Cosmo Canyon, minus the offensive reviews and redundant news coverage, but I also hope to do some new sections too. So drop me a line and lemme know what sorta things you'd like to see Qu's Marsh. You can check out the long-winded Site FAQ to see a bit more of what I've got in mind at the moment.
I don't know how frequently I'll be updating Qu's Marsh yet (especially since I've been sick as a dog lately), but check back every few days for now and we'll see how it goes from there.
(Extra big thanks to Andrea Hartmann for the spiffy Qu's Marsh background graphic. And to Kappa, whose #fret page layout I ripped off.)
