ITEMS TO GET: B&JM686S Ammo, ShotG70 Ammo, Panalphasol (x2),
Aquasol DX (x2), SurvivalTent (x2)
After Fei is rescued by Billy and Bart, you'll end
up in a duct over Krelian's lab. Equip Bart with the
Sonic Wave and Billy with the Matchlock, then head
southwest and drop down the hole into Krelian's lab to
rescue Elly. You'll automatically leave the lab
afterwards; head sotuheast and through the first door you
come to.
All the characters (except Maria, but why would you
want to use her anyway?) are assembled here. You can talk
to Hammer to buy stuff, which is probably a good idea.
The blue thing that looks like a save spot is a character
change spot; you can stand on it and hit X to switch party
members. Pick any characters you want (note that Citan
finally his sword; giving him a new set of Deathblows).
Billy is probably a good pick because of healing abilities.
Note that once you leave the screen, all the characters
will be gone if you come back. While you will still be
able to use the character change point, Hammer will be
gone, so be sure to buy anything you need *before* you
start off.
Go southeast and through the door. Follow the
path along to the first door on the south (note: like
the Solaris dig site, most of the doors here are
unopenable; don't worry about them) and go through.
Grab the M686S Ammo from the chest, then leave the
room and continue south and west until you get to a
four-way intersection. Remember where this is, then
go north and west, through the door, to a hallway
leading northeast (take a look at the map
if you're lost).
Enter the first door on the north side of the hall
and you'll be in a room with a bunch of cannons, save
and character change points, and a chest with a
Panalphasol. Open the chest, use the save/switch
spots if you want, then go back to the four-way
intersection you visited earlier.
Go south at the intersection and head east through
the first passage you come to. Enter the room and
retrieve the ShotG70 Ammo from the chest, then leave
and go south some more. You'll come to a door that
takes you into a different-looking passage. Pass
through there and you'll be back in the normal-looking
area. Keep going southwest, past the first side
passage, until the hall turns northwest. Go northwest
until you get to a door on the east side of the hall.
Go through the door into a room with an Aquasol DX in
the chest. Get it, leave the room, and continue
northwest. When you reach another four-way intersection,
go southwest and grab the Panalphasol from the chest
out in the open. Return to the intersection and continue
northwest. The passage will eventually turn southwest;
follow it to yet another intersection. Go northwest
through the door and into another gun room with save
and switch spots, and a SurvivalTent in a chest. Don't
bother with the save spot; there's another one soon.
Leave the room and continue southwest (if you want, you
can take the passage to the southeast to get an Aquasol
DX, but it's not really worth it since you can just buy
them anyways). You'll eventually come to another door
that takes you into a weird passage. Go through here
and you'll end up in a new high-tech area that resembles
the Ethos HQ basement.
You'll see a fuzzy black spot on the south wall;
that's actually a doorway. Go southeast through there
and follow the series of rooms until the path forks.
You can find a save point to the southeast if you want to
save (don't bother); otherwise continue southwest
through several more rooms to yet another fork. Go
northwest and through the door to get a SurvivalTent,
then head southeast. Keep going through the rooms
until you end up outside. There's another save and
switch spot here. Heal up and save, and put Billy in
your party if he isn't already (assuming he has Goddess
Wake -- if not, use Chu-Chu instead).
As you head southwest, Hammer will suddenly start
talking, and there will be a bunch of scenes (poor
Hammer... ::sniff::). Grahf will appear again, accompanied
by the Executioner, and you'll have to fight. First,
go after the Executioner, as she can use an instant
death spell on you (this is why you brought Billy or
Chu-Chu). She only has about 4500 HP, so you should be
able to take her out pretty quickly. Once you do,
cast some stat-boosting spells (Iron Valor, Steel Fist,
Red Cologne, whatever) and go after Grahf. The Seeker of
Power has a number of powerful attacks (especially the
dive bomb one that does about 400 damage), so keep
healing. Equipping Yamato and Gallant Belts also helps
out a lot. Grahf's got approximately 7000 HP; when
both he and the Executioner are defeated, you'll receive
a load of EXP and win the battle. There will be about
an hour's worth of the ubiquitous "scenes", and then
you get a chance to save before moving on to Disc 2.
