ITEMS TO GET: Penguin Coat, B&JM10S Ammo, SurvivalTent, Cabin Key, Silver Beret, ShotG60 Ammo
Leave the Orphanage and you'll automatically
return to the Yggdrasil. Go to the gun room and
talk to Sigurd. Once he leaves, talk to Billy
(also in the gun room) and he'll explain how to
use his guns (if you don't get it, read the Guns
And Ammo section under Playing The Game). Billy
then joins, and you have to pick one character to
bring along; choose Citan. Now that you have
Billy, things get a lot easier, not only are his
attacks powerful (and cool-looking), he has all
the healing magic. Also, if you go back to Margie's
room, Primera will be there; talk to her for a brief
scene (she'll also repeat the gun info if you need
it).
While you're still on the Yggdrasil, go back
to Maison's shop, which is now carrying the stuff
they had back on the Thames. Buy a healthy stock
of Zetasols, and check to see if there's any equipment
upgrades you can make (don't worry about buying ammo
for Billy; you'll get plenty from defeated enemies).
You can also buy stuff at the Gear shop, though you
won't be using your Gears for a while.
Go to the room outside the bridge and climb
up the ladder onto the Solaris transport. This
area is great for building up experience; the
enemies (Abandons and Wels) are both easy to
beat, and Billy's healing magic lets you stay
in for a long time. Use this time to help get any
characters who are lacking in Deathblows (Elly in
particular, but also Bart and Rico) at least their
first five.
To get through the actual dungeon; head north
into the transport and jump at the crates to knock
them down. Go north and flip the light switch on
the east wall. Jump at the next set of crates to
knock them down, then knock over the crates to your
west. Go that way and pick up a PenguinCoat from
the chest. Now climb up the ladder onto the roof
of the transport.
Up here, you'll fight more Wels, as well as
Shellbelles, who begin every battle by putting your
characters to sleep. Once Billy wakes up, have
him cast Purity Light to wake up the other
characters. Anyway, head north to the next "car"
and go down the ladder. Pick up the B&JM10S Ammo
from the chest and equip it on Billy, then go
south. Dodge the swinging cocoons (though it
doesn't seem to hurt you if you touch them) and
flick the switch on the east wall. This will open
the door back to the first car, and allow you
access to the save point. Pick up the SurvivalTent
from the chest just to the south, then exit north
to the third "car".
Check the first room on the west for a funny
little sequence, then collect the Cabin Key from
the room just across the hall. Next, drop in the
second room on the west for a Silver Beret, and
finally get the ShotG60 Ammo (better shotgun
ammo) from the third room on the left. Use the
Cabin Key to unlock the door at the end of the
hallway. It won't open, however, so you'll have
to charge it. Back up a little and run into the
door (with the Circle button). It will shake a
little. Repeat until the door is smashed down.
Continue north to the next ladder and ascend.
If you're still rolling up points, turn back
now; the boss is ahead. If you're here for
business, you should have Billy, Elly, and Citan
in your party. Go north and use the save point
at the rear of the ship, then head south a little
and jump through the open chute. As soon as you
land, you'll be attacked by Bloody.
Bloody is really just Redrum all over again
(he even looks the same), so fight him the same
way: have Citan use Renki, then Suiseii to give
you all defense against Bloody Rain, then attack.
Citan should use his best Deathblow, which should
do a lot of damage. Billy should also attack,
but be careful not to use his right-hand Ether
gun (the one with the fire ammo in it), it will
heal Bloody. Just use his Tr,Tr,Tr,X Deathblow
and you'll be fine. As for Elly, have her cast
Aqua Ice; Bloody is weak against water. Bloody
uses Murder a lot more than his cousin, so keep
using those Zetasols. You now have the advantage
of Billy's healing Ethers, though (plus Bloody
doesn't confuse you), so in general he's actually
easier.
After you defeat Bloody, there will be a bit
of weird dialogue. Exit to the south and there
will be a cute sequence in which Billy's Gear,
Renmazuo, appears. You then have to fight a
Gear battle against a Giant Wels. It has an
incredibly high defense and is consequently immune
to any physical attacks. Use Renmazuo's Ether
guns, and when it reaches attack level 2, use
the Square, Triangle Deathblow. Elly should
cast Thermo Dragon, which do will over 1000
damage, in addition to making the Wels grow.
Every time it grows, it will become stronger,
but its defense will go down. Keep this pattern
up and eventually you will be able to hurt it
with physical attacks, at which point the battle
is almost over. Finish it off with Heimdal's
Deathblows.
