ITEMS TO GET: MagneticCoat, Extra Ar+2, Rosesol S, Gold Nugget
You start off controlling Citan in the Yggdrasil.
Just go talk to Maison, then go up to the deck of the
Yggdrasil (use the ladder in the room outside the
bridge). Citan will overhear a conversation between
Sigurd and Bart, and then you see some scenes with
Ramsus and Miang.
Eventually, you switch over to Fei's band at
the Kislev border. The enemies here are really wimpy;
they're just the same guys you fought back in the
Stalactite Cave. The sole new enemy is the Edelweiss,
which isn't too much tougher than any of the other
enemies.
Head east and then north, keeping to the grass.
When you reach the end of the grass, hop up on the
ledges to the south so that you can reach the high
cliff on the south edge. Head southwest along that
cliff and open the chest for an Extra Ar+2 (equip it
if it's better than what Weltall's got). Then jump
back down to the grass and head northeast again.
This time, jump up the cliffs to the northeast,
and head north until you reach a high cliff that
you can't jump onto (sorry if this is a little vague,
this area is hard to describe). Now jump east to
the next ledge, and then south. You should now be
on a long, skinny, ledge running north and south,
with a high cliff to the east and a small platform
to the west. Jump onto the platform to the west,
then get a running start and leap from there onto
the high cliff (this jump might take you a couple
tries). From there, go south and pick up the
MagneticCoat from the chest. Equip it; it gives
you a big Response boost. Then go north and hop
onto the ledge. Exit through the cave.
You emerge into another cliff area (notice how
the entrance to the cave led northeast, but the exit
does too? Weird...). Hop left two ledges, then
jump up onto the high ledge to your right. From
there, jump back left. Jump up two more ledges,
then take a big leap to the right. Hop up a bunch
more ledges until there's no ledge directly above
you. Go southeast for a Rosesol S in a chest, then
go northwest. When you reach the end of the ledge,
jump across the gap to the west (watch out, if you
fall, you have a long way to climb back up). Then
jump up another two levels and collect another Gold
Nugget from the chest to the southwest. Jump up to
the next level and then jump across the gap to the
right. Jump up a few more levels and you'll see
another white repair bot. Talk to it and you can
buy Gear parts and items. There's nothing really
worth buying, but be sure to refuel you Gear. Save,
equip the Beam Coat, and exit to the northwest.
Upon exiting the cave, you'll immediately be
attacked by Elly's Gebler force. First, you'll
square off against two Wandknights. If you equipped
the Beam Coat, they should barely be able to hurt
you, so just take them down one at a time using the
standard X button/Deathblow pattern.
Afterwards, you'll have to fight the Aegisknight,
Swordknight, and Clawknight. This fight is a bit
trickier, but still easy. Attack Swordknight first,
since it does the most damage. Once it's defeated,
go after Clawknight, and then Aegisknight (since the
latter can barely hurt you, and it also has the
most HP). Aegisknight will use Pile Driver to weaken
your armor; if it does this a lot, use Inner Healing
to restore your armor. You really shouldn't have
too much trouble; just try to minimize the damage
you take.
Finally, you'll have to fight a stoned Elly in
her new Gear, Vierge. This isn't really a battle;
just keep using your attacks whenever you have a
chance, and after enough dialogue, it will end.
You then emerge back into the second cliff area.
Get healed by the repair bot, then hop up the
cliffs to the northeast. This is straight-forward;
just follow the path until you get to the beam of
light. Walk up against the back wall and hit X.
Fei will fly out onto the cliff.
You now switch back to Bart and Citan in the
Fatima Castle basement. Don't worry, you don't
have to go through the whole thing again. Just
save your game at the save point (and stop if you
want, you won't have another chance to save for
a looooong time), and climb up the ladder to say
hello to Shakhan.
