ITEMS TO GET: 15 yellow fairies

    Before seeking the dungeon fairies, make sure you have the Great Fairy's Mask. If there are any fairies left in a room, the mask will react, and freed fairies will also be drawn toward you when you wear it. Also important is the compass for each dungeon, as the random treasure chests that you may miss during exploration are most likely fairies. Highlight the hidden text at the end of this page if you want to know what the reward is for finding all 15.

    The fairy fountain is located at the top of Ikana Canyon in a hole in the east wall.

    1. Shoot the eyeball switch to the left in the first room and open the chest that appears.

    2. In the basement, look for a hookshot ring on the northwest part of the ceiling.

    3. In the room with the trick mirrors, shine light onto the six sun crests until you trigger a treasure chest.

    4. Behind the eastern blue block in the trick mirror room.

    5. In the large room where you use wind currents to fly over the lava, land on the corner of the bottom of the room to avoid the lava. Activate the yellow switch as Goron Link, then roll to the triggered switch and hit it to free the chest from flames.

    6. At the first wind current, turn right to fly into an alcove with rupees and a chest containing a fairy.

    7. In the room after the Garo Master, defeat the Hiploop and drop down to the grating on either side. Bomb the crystal switch and open the chest that appears.

    8. Kill the first Eyegore and open the chest that appears.

    9. Before inverting the temple, shoot the sun crest in the first room to make a chest appear that can be collected in the inverted temple.

    10. Before inverting the temple, return to the area where the Dexihand flips you onto dry land and set a bomb near the crystal switch. Dolphin jump onto the ledge opposite the room as Zora Link, then clear the path to the chest with a light arrow.

    11. Before inverting the temple, dive under the bridge by the first mirror, then knock the spikes sinto each other and activate the switch. When the dungeon is inverted, use the elegy to hold the blue switch down to clear the flames around the chest.

    12. Shoot the sun above the inverted bridge in the huge room that's filled with water when the temple is normal. A chest will appear.

    13. Kill Wizrobe, then hookshot to and open the chest that appears.

    14. With the temple right side-up, collect the chest in the huge water-filled room (the one that has air currents when inverted) as Zora Link.

    15. Take the southwest exit from the room with the three mines (inverted temple) and jump across to the switch with the Bunny Hood or as Zora Link. Open the chest that appears when the temple is righted again.
