ITEMS TO GET: 15 green fairies

    Before seeking the dungeon fairies, make absolutely sure you have the Great Fairy's Mask. If there are any fairies left in a room, the mask will react, and freed fairies will also be drawn toward you when you wear it. Also important is the compass for each dungeon, as the random treasure chests that you may miss during exploration are most likely fairies. Highlight the hidden text at the end of this page if you want to know what the reward is for finding all 15.

    1. Roll over the broken bridge, then free the fairy under the platform in front of the stairs with an arrow.

    2. In the same room, look down into the stone pillar coming from the lava and angle yourself to free the fairy inside it with an arrow.

    3. Inside the gold-framed door, move the stack of two majora blocks all the way to the west-most end of the room. You'll be able to access the chest later from the compass room (see #9).

    4. Drop down in the pillar room as Goron Link and activate the switch in the southern part of the room, then open the chest that appears.

    5. Floating freely in the northwest corner of the map room.

    6. In the room where you shoot the ice stalactites, use the Lens of Truth to see a hidden alcove with a chest in the southern wall.

    7. In the room with the yellow and green switches, use the Lens Of Truth to see a fairy hiding in the ceiling.

    8. Melt the ice over the switch in the compass room, activate it, then move the majora block beneath the ledge where the chest appears.

    9. Use the majora block again to reach the northwest ledge; throw a bomb from the ledge to the wooden box on the pillar by the west exit. Remember to head north through the door and collect the fairy #3 in the room with the stack of two majora blocks.

    10. Use the Lens of Truth in the map room to see a series of small platforms leading to an alcove above the southern door.

    11. Inside the green-framed doors, kill the Freezards with fire arrows and open the chest that appears.

    12. If you have the scarecrow song, look at the northwest wall of the pillar room for an alcove visible with the Lens of Truth. Play the scarecrow song and hookshot to him for the fairy. If not, stand on the third floor bridge across from the snowballs and look down for the alcove, then aim carefully and jump down using the Bunny Hood.

    13. In the room after the locked door filled Eenos, look for the alcove in the southwest corner of the room visible with the Lens Of Truth.

    14 and 15. The Dinalfos twins both have a fairy on them, so kill them both.
