Prerequisites: Watts Drops the Hammer

   First off, if you want to get the Cactus Diary entry for Watts Drops the Hammer, be sure to chat with Li'l Cactus before you set foot in your workshops. As soon as you do, Watts will step out and announce that he's built a forge for you.

   Ask Watts all the various questions about the forge, and he'll declare you ready to work. He gives you a Menos Bronze to get you started, starts to leave, then asks whether he gave you anything. Lie to him and he'll give you a second Menos Bronze, then leave. The quest ends.

   You can now create -- and temper -- weapons and armor at the forge. While there's really no pressing need to do so (at least on the Normal difficulty level), it's still an interesting diversion. Watts also opens a shop back in the Ulkan Mines; be sure to pay him a visit.
