Prerequisites: The Nordic Snowfields, AF Torch of Coral

   Make one more trip to the Buccaneer and sail west two spaces and north one. The Pirate Penguin gang will land on Madora Beach to race the Diggers to some buried treasure.

   Cap'n Tusk will give you 15 Halo Coins to bribe the Dudbears with. 15 is a lot more than you need, but if you manage to run out, you'll be kicked back to the world map. The quest still can be completed, however; just return to the S.S. Buccaneer and navigate back to the "buried treasure" square.

   Head right and give one Halo Coin to the third Dudbear from the top. (In order to reach this Dudbear, you'll need to approach him from below.) All the Dudbears will run off, allowing you to proceed down the beach.

   Continue until you reach the Sunrise Caverns. Four Dudbears will be wandering around at the bottom. Talk to the second one from the left and give him a Halo Coin. He'll wave his hands and give you a Li'l Bottle in return. Give him two more Halo Coins for two more bottles, then talk to the guard (the stationary Dudbear blocking the exit) at the lower-right. Give him a Li'l Bottle to get rid of him, then proceed.

   Trek through the caverns to the next of the former crab rooms. Once again, it's been commandeered by the Dudbears. Talk to the Dudbear in the upper-right and give him a Li'l Bottle; he'll give you a Pucashell in return. Give him your last Bottle for another Pucashell, then give one of the Pucashells to the guard.

   Continue on to the final Dudbear room. Assuming you still have a Pucashell left, just give it to the guard on the left to clear the room. If you don't have a Pucashell, the lower-right of the four Dudbears entrance gives Li'l Bottles in exchange for a Halo Coin, and the moving Dudbear closest to the guard trades Li'l Bottles for Pucashells.

   Head out the exit that the last guard was blocking and pick up on the chest. Roger and the Dudbears will rush in, but if you've got a Halo Coin left, you'll automatically bribe the Dudbears to deal with Roger. Cap'n Tusk then rewards you with a metal or Artifact, as well as a fourth crab for your library.
