Prerequisites: Daddy's Broom, AF Medallion, AF Tome of Magic, AF Pirate's Hook The infamous Li'l Cactus quest begins shortly after completing Daddy's Broom; Bud will lying down inside of meandering around in your living room. Talk to him and you're sent to see Meimei. Go do so (don't dilly-dally in other areas, or Bud may recover and the quest can't be completed) and she'll prescribe cactus juice. But when you go to find Li'l Cactus, you'll discover he's run away. Note: If you want to get all the Cactus Diaries, be sure not to complete any other quests while L.C. is MIA; he won't be able to record them. Go downstairs and recruit Lisa, then head upstairs and search Li'l Cactus' pot to find a note that says he went to see Gaeus. Go speak with Gaeus (if you haven't found him yet, he's in the lower-right corner of the Luon Highway) and he'll tell you that L.C. went to see Selkie. Selkie can be found at Rosiotti's Throne; if she's not there yet, see The Murmuring Forest to find out how to locate her. Your next stop is Geo. Talk to the stationary student standing guard outside the classroom; he refers you to David. David, of course, is a Pirate Penguin, so make tracks to the SS Buccaneer. Descend to the lowest level and talk to the two penguins there; one of them is David. David sends you to see Pelican. As usual, she can be found delivering the mail to the Outskirts of Domina. Once you talk to Pelican, return Home and you'll find Li'l Cactus wedged into your mailbox. Talk to him to clear the quest.
