Prerequisites: AF Bottled Spirit, AF Pirate's Hook, AF Rusty Anchor

   The first time you set foot in the Diggers' Hideout in the Ulkan Mines (see Watts Drops the Hammer), you'll witness Putty being kidnapped by the Pirate Penguins -- and, as usual, it's up to you to save him.

   Venture to the Pirate Penguins' usual hideout: the SS Buccaneer. Descend the stairs on either Forecastle Deck, then look for the Hatchway. Go down the stairs there to the Lower Deck. Check the second door on the south wall for a number of chests, then go through the door on the west wall. Descend the stairs to the next screen and search the barrel. Putty will run out and vanish.

   But when you talk to Roger in the mines, he reports that Putty hasn't yet arrived. Where could he be? Since he fell off the ship, head to Polpota and check the beach. Putty will be there; as soon as you talk to him, Roger and the Diggers will rush in and spirit him to safety.
